Factors that contributed to precious having low-self esteem is that she was self destructive due that she was sexually abuse and also because she focused her self in her weakness she considered her self being good at nothing.

Some of the signs of low-self-esteem that precious display was that she did not take her studies seriously, she also had communication problems.

The defense mechanism that precious use to avoid dealing with pain was denial whereby she was unable to face reality and also repression where she tries to keep her memories back.

The NN that precious display was the neurotic need to restrict one life because precious think that she is good at nothing and also Neurotic Need for self-sufficiency because she had no friend and don’t ask for help.

I think that precious increase her low self-esteem when she change from school because she felt more secure of herself and had new friend which contributed to her change.

Some signs that precious display was that she was happier; she was more confident of herself and decided to take care of her babies.

Well, from the movie I learn that one must fight for what they want. That you should let no body interfere with your goals I think that precious was a good example.

Well, the movie precious was a good a good example that happen in real life. I think that I would definitely recommend the movie precious to others so that they could learn more about real life and when someone have been sexually abuse ,they should immediately report to the police so that they could pay for their action.
